GVU Journal of Communication Studies is a peer-reviewed publication of the Department of Mass Communication, Glorious Vision University, Ogwa, Edo State, Nigeria. The journal welcomes scholarly articles from local and international researchers across all areas of communication, including political, corporate, interpersonal, development communication, media law, film, public relations, digital media, and more.
It is available in both print and Open Access electronic formats, with each article assigned a Digital Object Identifier (D.O.I). The journal is indexed in Google Scholar, OpenAIRE, Zenodo, Dimensions, and Garuda, ensuring global visibility.

All submissions undergo blind peer review and are accepted year-round.
Guidelines for Submission of Articles
Manuscripts must include the title of the paper, author’s name(s), institutional affiliation(s), email address(es), and phone number(s) on a cover page.
An abstract of not more than 250 words should accompany the paper.
Manuscripts must be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with double line spacing throughout, except for the abstract (single-spaced).
The total length of the manuscript must not exceed 18 pages (including references).
References should follow the citation style provided in the official Call for Papers or author guidelines.

Articles are received and reviewed throughout the year.
Based on peer reviewers' feedback, authors may be required to revise and resubmit their manuscripts before final acceptance.
